US Book Sold To UK Market July 28, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I'm returning this book after finding key parts of it were relavent only to the US, not UK (US tax law, US websites, etc). Why don't Amazon.co.uk make this clear? If you're in the UK buy something else.
Good boook and very useful for someone like me. April 15, 2000 6 out of 15 found this review helpful

For Americans ONLY! February 1, 2000 85 out of 89 found this review helpful
Has a lot of good points to starting your own business. BUT! All the programs, tax matters, banking is for the US in US market. None of this stuff works in the UK, Europe or the rest of the world. For instance, you cannot sign up with Yahoo! store front unless you are a US company.
A good foundation book July 26, 1999 10 out of 14 found this review helpful
A great book for anyone wanting basic knowledge of how to start an online buisness. I'd say it's definetly geared more towards online stores than selling skills online. None the less a good book for beginners, if you don't mind hearing the word Yahoo! advertised on everyother page.
I found this book to be an excellent source of information. July 24, 1999 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
I instruct E-Commerce classes at a local junior college, and I will recommend my students buy this book. After reading several books on starting an online business, I found this one pretty much covered the major points that I discuss in my classes. Since starting up my own web design business, I find I use this book for ideas for my own company. It's a book you can constantly reference. Accompanied by a Web page design book like "Web Pages that Suck" (It really is good!), most of the bases are covered. Also, the cd had a lot of useful information on small business links and sample software.
