 DOA HDMI failed to work July 17, 2008
I went through the exact same procedure as i did with my 19 inch SM, same technique same HDMI output device and i even tried it with 2 cables.
This unit failed to work with HDMI, I can only conclude that part of the unit is dodgy.
I used to like Samsung but now it appears it's just cheap Slovakian cr^^ made by the lowest bidder.
Please please don't make the mistake i did, look elsewhere.

After many hours of decision making i decided on this neat little tv from Samsung. I would not go as far as saying that this tv is excellent but it is very good and provides good quality throughout. The only thing i would comment on is the build quality which is a bit in the light side. I have a Sony Bravia W2000 series and the difference is quite obvious. But then again the Bravia is a lot more expensive.
The courier Citylink were not up to much and i would go as far to say that they were a bunch of twats who would not compromise at all when it came to a rough delivery time. They even told me that they would hold it in the depot for me to collect myself. On my way there ( 1hrs drive) my gf called to say that they had delivered it a second time to my neighbour who luckily was in to sign for it. Citylink you are incompetent and if Amazon use you for any of my future purchases i will not be buying !!!

Just bought one of these through dabs for 210. Arrived overnight and although i've only tried it with my pc through the dvi port it looks great!
Haven't tried the sound yet but even if the speakers aren't great it has a stereo phono output for external speakers & a headphone socket if you wanted to connect speakers that way.
I spent ages looking at various samsungs, lg's and sony's and in the end plumped for this one, it's cheap and has all the connections in the world!!
Ovrall i'm very happy - the only little problem so far was fitting the base took a bit of force - but only 5 mins wasted, well worth the wait!

I bought this TV to use with my PS3 in the bedroom, and it is AMAZING. The picture quality is unbelievable! I'm really particular about my electrical goods and could not be more pleased with this TV. A must for any PS3 / XBOX 360 owner who wants great quality, but on a budget.

I ordered this TV on the 25th of February (1am+), recieved it on the 27 of February (12.00am) with Express Delivery. First of all I'd like to thank amazon for a great delivery service! I couldn't have asked for better.
The TV itself is a great buy for the money. With the amount of ports on the back to the screen resolution and contrast ratio... you really can't ask for much more. Another nice feature for this TV is 1080p, a great fuction for PS3 gamers, (although not all games run at 1080p, it's nice to see it when they do!) I currently have my Freeview Box, PS3, PS2 and PC, without having to change any connection, which is bliss. No hassel with no problems, the stand only took a few minutes to set up too.
If anyone is considering this TV as a purchase, then I'd highly recommend! You probably won't find a TV like this with the high spec it maintains anywhere else. Well done Samsung and Amazon!
