 Great monitor - poor stand August 30, 2008
Got this 20inch wide screen as an upgrade from my 4 year old Sharp LL-172A 17inch standard flat lcd monitor.
Pros: Driver cd updated winXP in a flash, nice clear 1680 x 1050 resolution, easy set up brightness / digital vibrance / contract / image sharpening / gamma using existing nVidia control panel, no need to install the bundled Samsung software, comes with dvi cable and vga cable for older pc.
Cons: Vista drivers were not included on driver cd you'll need an internet connection to use the download link instead. This nice monitor is very badly let down buy the flimsy plastic stand, with poor adjustment, when you gently touch the power switch the whole thing 'wobbles' creating an air of cheapness to the finished article.

Extremely Impressed July 31, 2008
Recently took the plunge and bought a whole load of new PC bits to make a new PC. Also decided to upgrade my old 15" Dell LCD to this 20". I was impressed as soon as I got it out of the box.
The surround is a glossy black with a tinge of dark red, the whole lot edged in glass giving a high-class look. Installation was dead easy and all wires conveniently kept out of the way. No dead pixels and Vista picked it up without a hitch.
It's colours and response time are fantastic, games work a treat. I'm still amazed at the price, it's a bargain!
